With the development of information technology, a large number of PC equipment makes the day-to-day management of the staff personal computers become a complex work, upgrade patches, security strategies, day-to-day maintenance of equipment often requires enterprises to invest a lot of manpower and material resources.  With the spread of the work place, mobile equipment began to apply to the office, the traditional PC equipment can not fully adapt to the business needs of the office.  In recent years the concept of cloud computing began to rise, cloud desktop, a new form of office equipment has entered the people's vision.  As an extension of virtualization technology, the Cloud desktop relies on server-side computing, high security, easy management, and is suitable for mobile devices.  Cloud desktop at home and abroad already have a number of application cases, for the Enterprise IT office equipment selection indicates a new direction. The application of cloud Desktop is analyzed based on the application of cloud desktop and the technical characteristics of cloud desktop.
