Jet aircraft, flying Rook, hybrid cloud (hybrids cloud). Who will be popular for the next two years?
Give a hint: the one that has nothing to do with private aerial navigation. Companies with cloud computing will have enviable capabilities, including accelerated marketing, hot deployment (seamless deployment), real hybrid languages (polyglot job), and arbitrary Agile Development (agile-as-you-want Development). What technology makes this possible?
Another hint: it originated in a private cloud (a proprietary PaaS). You can interpret it as an enterprise middleware (middleware)--paas reliable service relies on firewall protection, or PAAs is the operating system of the enterprise private cloud.
We predict that as of 2015, PAAs will bring innovation to enterprise Cloud (cloud space) in six ways:
1. Mobile applications will promote the use of private clouds by enterprises.
Within two years, the development of cloud computing will not be a traditional application, but a mobile application. Radical employees have used self-contained devices (Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)) as a prerequisite for business: a wide variety of jobs requires different types of mobile applications to assist. This will lead to it executives buried in the complex cloud resource management.
To keep control of the team rather than the trivial management (and sanity), these it executives will embrace private PAAs technology for integrated application management, whether it be mobile applications or Web applications or cloud applications (cloud applications).
2. Private cloud will take over the enterprise market, but in the end it is the world of mixed clouds.
The salesman described a perfect fairy tale about mixed clouds, calmly coping with bursts of traffic, easily managing multiple data centers, better security controls, and replacing developers with redundancy and fault-tolerant work. These are quite remarkable and achievable visions. But for most businesses, the mixed cloud in fairy tales will not appear in at least two years. That is why they are still investing in the private PAAs architecture. Today's cloud-using enterprises will be a private cloud, specifically a private PAAs as a transition to a large mixed cloud in the future.
3. Because IaaS is being absorbed by PAAs, the size of the small public PAAs will be reduced.
To show the extraordinary, IaaS suppliers are still not working with PAAs technology. But they will broaden their current business and attract small businesses to use their public cloud through low prices. These very competitive low prices will hit the independent small public PAAs, especially if they are exhausted from VC, they will be forced to work with large companies, or face the fate of being acquired.
4.2013 PAAs goal: accelerate development.
2015 PAAs goals: Administrative controls (administrative control), hybrid development, large data expansion.
In the PAAs world, 2013 will be a year of rapid application development: Users of corporate private cloud will find their application development cycles reduced from weeks and even months to minutes. In two years, such speed will also be brought to the market level. As a result, users are no longer simply evaluating the proprietary PAAs technology through the acceleration of workflow, but also considering its role in the final completion time.
By the year 2015, private PAAs technology will be able to provide easier administration, support for any language development, seamless integration with other applications, and compatibility with mixed clouds.
5. More than just multiple languages, any language development will drive app development in ways we can't imagine now.
In today's cloud technology market, enterprise developers often face the choice of their favorite development language or the official support of the cloud Platform development language. Once the platform (whether private or public) specifies the development environment, programmers are always going to endure the pain and they need to adapt.
In some cases, this may mean learning a new language, or rewriting (or even completely rewriting) the previous code. But two years later, when we look back, we'll laugh at all this trouble. Imagine supporting multiple languages through middleware. Multi-language common development and application. Real Portable cloud applications. Developers collaborate with operation. Dogs and cats live together in harmony. True.
6. Agile development will be more agile (Super Agile?)
Tomorrow's agility will make today's look like a joke.
By the year 2015, we can enjoy multilingual dynamic development. Having these capabilities will lead to a dramatic increase in our development speed, not only to improve management intelligence but also to make management more flexible: Developers can work at their own pace (fast).
Faster, more and better applications to the market. The future looks ... Well, it's bright.
