Parallel BZIP2 1.1.5 This version fixes a lot of output permissions during the compression/decompression process. You can now simulate the same behavior of bzip2.

PBZIP2 is a parallel implementation version of the BZIP2 block sort file compressor, using Pthreads and Archieves near-linear to accelerate on SMP multiprocessor machines, fully compatible with BZIP2 1.0.2 and newer versions. In other words, any file that uses PBZIP2 compression can be uncompressed with bzip2.
