Ma Yida recently, a balloon race has sparked a whole-American imagination. The United States Department of Defense Advanced Research Program (DARPA) has placed 10 balloons in public places across the United States, who can win 40,000 dollars for bonuses. A total of more than 4000 teams were registered and eventually a team at MIT took the lead in determining the exact location of all the balloons in just 9 hours. One of the most interesting things for DARPA researchers is how these contestants build a nationwide network in the shortest possible time and identify credible and inaccurate information. In this competition, many teams use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter to get and filter information.
