Percona Server 5.5.17-22.1 releases the MySQL derivative version

Percona was pleased to announce on November 19, 2011 that Percona Server 5.5.17-22.1http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/18782.html "> was officially released. It is based on MySQL 5.5.17, including fixing all previous Bug,percona Server 5.5.17-22.1 is the most stable version of the current 5.5 series. Error fixes include:

MyISAM Data Repair the sort buffer cannot be greater than 4GB, even in a 64-bit schema. Fixed: #878404.
Ending idle processing functionality in XTRADB (if enabled) can sometimes cause server crashes. Fixed: #871722.
When a set user variable is used in a master-master setting, it may have the incorrect output of show SLAVE status and corrupt a relay log. Fixed: #860910.

About Percona Server

Percona has improved the MySQL database server, with a significant improvement in functionality and performance over MySQL. This release improves the performance of InnoDB in high load situations, provides some very useful performance diagnostic tools for DBAs, and additional parameters and commands to control server behavior.

The Percona server contains only the MySQL server version and does not provide a corresponding improvement to MySQL's Connector and GUI tools.
