Personalized Web Design

Keywords We personality can these

Each of us has our own personality, no one is exactly the same as others. Our relationship is based on http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/7518.html "> Interaction between people."

Like everyone else, web-makers have a unique and interesting personality. But while our personalities have a significant impact on our lives and our work, when we look at the pages, we still find that they are not very good.

For example, although the Chicago Tribune and The New York Times have their own unique styles, why are their websites so similar?

We are often addicted to the printing process, following the latest design trends, information architecture and the readability of the content, and so on, but forget or ignore those who are about to survive through the experience we have constructed.

On the basis of everyday life, users have a meaningful, memorable personal experience just like everyone else, but we only hope that our boring and boring websites can occupy a tiny bit of their lives.

We do not need to be afraid to show some personal characteristics through personal design. Web makers need to rethink the problem: when they show their users boring, boring websites, users are looking for a personalized, informal, casual Internet experience.

People

What do people like about the Internet? We can communicate with old friends in time, we can shop online, we can stir up the spark of friendship, we can always pay attention to bank accounts, we can also find the latest and most exciting information online ... These are all good, but more importantly, we can even do these things naked.

Have you ever delivered a resume via email or web page? Have you ever dressed up for a big occasion? If you're going to the company office, I bet you'll do it.

Why are we so obsessed with the orthodoxy that our users may be half-naked, drinking soda, stuffing their mouths full of cheese horns, and looking at our website?

The internet is the most informal environment in history. Because it gives the Web page creator enough creative space, so that it can through the site with its unique personality to give people a deep and distant impression, only to make the network so good.

In many cases, personality is manifested through content, because content is the highest user involvement in the entire site. For example, one of my favorite sites is called cracked, a blog full of humour, irony and humor. Cracked no special web design (or far from it), but its content has created its unique and distinctive personality.

Content is an important factor in integrating personality into a site, but as a Web page producer, we obviously have more choices.

Make a list

The success of a website depends largely on whether its visitors will come again, and if a visitor doesn't make any impression on a website, don't expect them to visit again.

Creating a relationship between people and a product can create a strong loyalty among users. As Web makers, we simply use basic design tools, such as space, color, texture, shape, and so on to build a memorable, personal experience page.

Here's a good example of using visual style to show individuality. In a Lost World market project (a project built by a great friendship to help Intel's browsers support open font formats), different sites form part of the entire project.

From one of the three pages in this project, we can clearly see that even though the content is not yet available, its presentation style is quite different.

Based on what we see, we gather so much information in the world we live in. As Web designers and artists, we can find such strong power in the rules of design and art, and let us know how we can let users see our thoughts and understand our personalities through the Web. Strong emotional feedback from users, positive or negative, will be the most effective way to get them back to the site again.

Is the error valuable?

It may be easy to infer that making mistakes can have intrinsic value when trying to create a Web site that is inherently more humane. People make a mess of things, and with it comes failure-the web site that people make that allows them to have their own flaws.

The best way to defect is often not to conceal them, but to admit them gracefully when they appear. The Twitter-like "failed whale", for example, has become a joke on the internet, and it has been reproduced, copied and mocked thousands of thousand. But the end of the "failed whale" error message has become a personal error in Twitter's history. If we are about to fail, we should do the same and turn gracefully in our own way.

We live in a world where flaws are unavoidable and the Internet is no exception. In the process of making a website, we often encounter difficulties to the producers to provide a perfect opportunity for themselves, and remind users of our producers are actually ordinary people.

Non-Self personality

Web makers rarely have the opportunity to design websites for themselves. In many cases, our own personality traits may need to re-examine the people, objects, or services that a project ultimately represents. This is easier said than done.

In order to better build a new personalized Web page, it is particularly important to take a step back and watch carefully. Unless you first figure out what a project represents, it's hard to make a personalized website. To make this site for the quirky local café, or for the church, or for small deals or technical enlightenment? In real life, all these institutions give people different impressions, so their online image should reflect these differences.

The best way to be a Web creator is to immerse yourself in a lot of experience, the more the better. Can you do a field trip? Can you interview people who are related to the project? Each experience in this project will help you assess what the new site will/should have and help you know what to use when creating these feelings or feelings associated with it.

The design of the Web page of Longfellow's baptism is very interesting. What kind of personality characteristics does this web page imagine its users to convey?

The next step is to take appropriate action against the part you control. Customers often want to be able to control the content of the site, so this part of us is out of control. Does the customer have a mandatory brand name or brand image that must be used? This is just a few examples where our ideas may get a little bit of a limit.

Luckily, many of the materials we need to build a personalized web site can be found in detail. Does the café allow users to see the first thing they can think of on the site, such as wallpaper or floor tiles? Perhaps the company you represent has been around 100 years old, so black/white may help users associate with the company's long history.

Time and place

such as the existing ideas and design principles, the integration of personality into the site has its time and place. Ideally, in the process of creation and implementation, most of the content of a Web page can carry a certain degree of human nature. But we often control our own casual and personality. Some customers prefer to choose a safe and common website. However, as designers, we should always have a unique personality in our creative things.
