PetroChina Hong Kong subsidiary intends to build liquefied natural gas plant

View the latest quotes January 22 Morning News, PetroChina (0857.HK) China (Hong Kong) Oil (0135.HK), said its wholly-owned subsidiaries to invest in Inner Mongolia to build a coke oven gas liquefied natural gas plant, the entire project estimated investment of 4.1 billion yuan.　　PetroChina Hong Kong announced late Thursday that its non-wholly-owned subsidiary, CNPC Oil and gas Company Limited and the Wuhai government entered into an investment agreement, the two sides will invest in the construction of coke oven gas energy saving and emission reduction comprehensive utilization project to establish cooperative relations.　　Under the agreement, PetroChina plans to use the amount of the investment to build two gas-fired liquefied natural gas plants (2.4 million cubic meters of coke oven gas can be processed into liquefied natural gas each day) and a gas pipeline to regulate the balance of Wuhai coke oven gas.　　PetroChina Hong Kong announced at the end of last month that it plans to increase its stake in the Chinese oil holdings from 51.01% to 77.59%, which is expected to be completed by the end of next month. PetroChina Hong Kong closed at HK $11.22 in Thursday and has risen 17.9% in the past one months.
