PetroChina into Australia LNG company major shareholder

According to China Oil and gas group, January 27, China Petroleum Group Global Engineering Company to subscribe to Australia liquefied Natural Gas 2¥q (LNG Co., Ltd.) part of the Framework agreement signing ceremony held in Beijing. Global engineering Company has become the largest shareholder of LNG Co., Ltd. after the purchase of shares of about 19.9% of the common shares issued by LNG Co., Ltd.　　PetroChina did not disclose the amount of the deal.　　Global engineering Company is China Petroleum and natural gas group is the set of consulting, research and development, design, procurement, construction management, equipment manufacturing, driving guidance and other multi-functional in one, and has project management contracting and general contracting comprehensive capacity of the international engineering Company. LNG Co., Ltd. is a listed company in Australia, mainly focused on the development and application of liquefied natural gas technology.　　The technology can be used in global engineering company's existing and future projects, and further improve global engineering companies in the international market in the field of LNG competitiveness. PetroChina believes that the transaction is in line with the company's outburst of natural gas development, to build a green enterprise development ideas, for the rapid upgrading of China's petroleum LNG technical strength, to promote the development of natural gas in Australia is of great significance.
