Protégé provides a knowledge based build domain Model tool. Its core is to achieve a rich set of knowledge modeling structure and action, support the creation, visualization and processing of various representations of the ontology. It can be customized, providing friendly domain support for creating knowledge models and data entry, and building knowledge-based tools and applications through extended plug-in architectures and java-based APIs.

Protégé 4.2 Beta This version improves the Active Ontology tab interface and is more readable. The application now launched can open an empty ontology instead of a welcome screen. Supports Java code generation.
