The traditional data center is usually the computer room rack rental, the second type is a collaborative data center, such as business search, business systems work together, the other is graphics processing, rendering data center. The third category is virtualized data centers, which provide remote virtual data centers for enterprises.

The requirements of virtualization are the flexibility of the network, improve the utilization rate of the single machine, improve the capability of the data center, transfer the virtual machine, maintain the load and so on. The main requirements of the server virtualization migration, the exchange of traffic will be relatively large.

The first Data center is the development of large-scale, the scale will be very large. Requires more network connectivity, finer-grained provisioning and allocation. The technology of mashups is widely used, and the traffic between different clusters of data centers can be greatly improved.

Virtual perception has two mainstream programs, one is IEEE802.1QBG, one is IEEE602.1QBH, it is to extend the switch to the server inside, to the last two will be basic to integration, the problem is how smooth transition past. Development trend analysis, the first is the problem of integration. Two-layer three-layer forwarding fusion. Physical layer consistency. The isomorphism of the storage network and the transmission network.

The second is differentiation.

New network connection architecture, one is InfiniBand, one is qfabric.

The other is SDN, mainly apenflow, control pla separation architecture, the control logic from the Network Settings box, you can go into any programming to implement a new network protocol, topology architecture without changing the network settings themselves.
