But is there really such a data visualization "Hammer"? Open source data visualization tool Raw gives the answer.
With raw you can easily finish some advanced data visualization in a few minutes (of course, you'd better read Flowingdata Nathan Yau). The whole process is fairly simple: copying data from a spreadsheet (or even a Web page) – Select the data visualization type (raw will recommend the most appropriate type) – and then drag the data you want to analyze to a predefined analysis category (see below, very intuitive). You can then download the analysis results in vector, PNG, or JSON format.
Gigaom's reporter made a visual analysis of the NFL's four-point data when trying raw. Initial analysis copy data directly from the NFL web site, and if you need to do some in-depth analysis, such as increasing the player classification criteria, you can add a column to the Excel table and then copy it back to raw for processing.
