The State administration of quality Control said 27th that Lenovo (Beijing) Limited submitted its recall report to the Bureau, and decided that the number of lithium-ion batteries for some of the ThinkPad laptops sold between October 2010 and April 2011 in mainland China would be recalled from March 27, involving about 117732 units. Aqsiq said the recall of the battery in the event of accidental failure, resulting in the battery shell overheating, there are security risks. Lenovo (Beijing) Limited will replace lithium-ion batteries for products that are in the range of recalls.
