The settings for the resource manager are primarily done through the settings menu.

5.2.1 Show/Hide

Set the show/Hide properties by using the Settings menu shown in the following illustration.

If you do not select the icon in front of the Show menu bar, the menu bar will not appear in the Explorer window. To display the hidden menu bar, right-click in the space in the Explorer window and choose "Show Menu Bar" from the pop-up menu. You can also set up the display and hiding of various toolbars, such as the main toolbar, Address toolbar, bookmarks toolbar, and so on.

5.2.2 Configuration Key Association

For ease of use, the Resource Manager provides shortcut keys for some menu commands, and select "Settings → configure shortcuts ..." To customize the user's own shortcut keys by opening the shortcut Association Settings dialog shown in the following illustration.

Select the command in the list that needs to change or set the shortcut key, and then define a shortcut key for the selected action, with three options: No shortcut keys, set as default, and custom keys. For example, you can set a custom shortcut key <alt+s> for send files, and then press OK to take the setting into effect, or click Default to return to the default value.

If you define a shortcut key that repeats with the shortcut you have set, you are prompted to reset it.

5.2.3 Configuration Toolbar

Click the settings → configure toolbars ... to add, remove, or change the position of the tool buttons on the toolbar in the Configuration Toolbar dialog box.

Select the action in the Available Actions list, and click to place the action in the current Actions list.

Change the position of the tool button

Select the action in the current action list, and click or adjust its position in the list.

Remove Tool button

Select the action in the current action list, and click to put the action back in the Available Actions list.
