Based on the project of cloud Platform system of an enterprise, this paper studies how to realize effective cloud resource management in OpenStack and cloud foundry open source platform, and to develop and realize cloud computing resource management system. The resource management system realizes the real-time monitoring of the virtual machine, the server resource load, records the monitoring data, and on this basis, realizes the flexible and scalable management function of the platform resource automation. By analyzing the monitoring records of virtual machine resource usage, this paper forecasts the resource usage of virtual machine for a period of time, makes the strategy of resource allocation, expands or shrinks resources appropriately, guarantees the operation stability of the virtual machine and its application, and uses the platform resources efficiently. At the same time, for the open source cloud Platform is responsible for running the application of the virtual machine, that is, the running node virtual machine, its load balance is imperfect, management system on the virtual machine task, that is, the distribution mechanism of the application instance optimization. By considering the characteristics of each application instance resource consumption, the dynamic formulation of the instance distribution strategy, and correcting the error caused by the network delay to the instance distribution decision making, improve the load balance condition of the running node virtual machine. Finally, the resource management system combines the monitoring information of server and virtual machine resources, considering the load situation of various types of virtual machines and servers, and according to the policies set by the system, invokes the interface provided by the open source platform, realizes the automatic virtual machine thermal migration function, and improves the load balance of the server.

This paper focuses on providing a stable and efficient resource management target for the cloud computing platform, completes the development of the open source cloud platform and the resource management system, provides the more automatic resource management function, and at the same time, proposes an optimization mechanism of application instance distribution to improve the load balancing status of the virtual machine of running nodes, In addition, through the research of virtual machine migration strategy, the integrated operation of virtual machine and server is analyzed synthetically to realize the automatic thermal migration function of virtual machine. The system test results show that the design of the platform is up to the requirements.
