Currently common cloud storage services are: Amazon simple Storage Service (S3), Nutanix storage services, Sohu Enterprise network, Baidu Cloud disk and so on, and these do not provide small development Board required cloud services. This system is based on TCP/IP as the basic means of communication, and add a custom data communication protocol, through the integration of distributed storage scheduling idea, to achieve the cloud storage architecture on the FPGA. This not only enables the FPGA Development Board to realize the function of cloud storage, but also lays a solid foundation for the cloud computing based on FPGA. Using the idea of cluster and distributed, this system simulates multiple FPGA development boards into a large number of storage devices, and through the Uniform Mapping protocol of the target data, it realizes the security, stability and reliability of the cloud storage, and realizes the function of the system finally. Because the FPGA has the characteristics of parallelism and dynamic reconfiguration, the system can perform the predetermined function well in the FPGA hardware cluster. The system in the process of design and implementation, using the Quartusⅱ, Eclipse and other integrated development environment, the use of ethereal software to carry out network capture test, and the switch to complete the development process of various experiments, the use of coding languages include: Verilog, Java, HTM15 , JS and so on. The final test, operating platform selected Altera company's DE2 Development Board, PC, router, etc., in addition to an interactive software (that is, a Web site to provide users with the interface). After testing and verifying, this system can run stably on the DE2 Development Board of 50MHz clock frequency. In this paper, the system is analyzed and evaluated in detail from the aspects of data transmission rate, the correctness of storage and the stability of data storage. The results show that the system can complete the function of cloud storage correctly, has the characteristic of low power consumption, high integration and good stability, has obvious performance advantages, and is the important foreshadowing of developing FPGA cloud computing. Therefore, the cloud storage architecture based on FPGA has good theoretical value and practical significance.
