This paper studies the instance-intensive workflow scheduling algorithm in cloud computing environment, firstly introduces the background, significance and research status of the instance-intensive workflow scheduling algorithm in cloud computing environment. Secondly, this paper introduces the concepts of cloud computing and cloud workflow, classifies and expounds the workflow scheduling algorithm, and emphatically discusses the existing instance-intensive workflow scheduling algorithms. Then, according to the characteristics of cloud computing environment, this paper designs an instance-intensive Workflow system framework suitable for cloud computing environment, and on this basis, improves and optimizes the deadline assignment algorithm and min-min algorithm, and proposes an instance-intensive workflow scheduling algorithm in cloud computing environment--minimum Total cost Under user-designed Deadline (mtcud) algorithm. Finally, the simulation platform Cloudsim is extended, and the algorithm is simulated and compared. The experimental results show that the MTCUD algorithm improves the throughput of the system, and can complete as many workflow instances as possible in the shortest time possible, thus it is better suited to the multi-instance cloud computing environment. At the same time, the algorithm can effectively reduce the execution time and execution cost of instance-intensive workflow instances in cloud computing environment.
