The high scalability, high availability and cheapness of cloud computing attracts more and more enterprise investment research, and based on the analysis and discussion of several typical cloud computing platform architectures, the differences between different platforms are deeply compared, and the existing example products and application cases of each platform are summarized. Finally, according to the present situation of traffic and transportation development and the characteristics of traffic information processing, this paper puts forward a reference system of traffic and transportation cloud platform, and builds a massive traffic data experiment cloud platform based on VMware Cloud platform and carries out the calculation performance test and analysis, the experimental results show that the platform can The existing resources of the intelligent transportation system can be integrated into the storage equipment and other infrastructures, so as to improve the computing storage capacity and data security of the whole transportation system.
