Research on QoS guarantee mechanism of multi-data center in cloud storage

This paper analyzes the imbalance of bandwidth utilization among multiple data centers in cloud storage, and presents a QoS-oriented network traffic scheduling model for multiple data centers. The optimization goal of the model is to ensure the performance requirement of data transmission at different QoS levels, and to maximize the network link bandwidth resource utilization. In this paper, a network traffic scheduling algorithm based on two-layer multi particle swarm is proposed, combining with the hierarchical management of cloud storage data center. The algorithm has faster convergence speed and avoids the problem that traditional algorithm is easy to fall into local optimal value. The simulation results show that the algorithm can improve the bandwidth utilization of the network link between the data centers of the cloud storage and ensure the transmission demand of high QoS priority data.
