Research on replica creation strategy in cloud storage environment

With the development of Internet technology, especially in recent years, the data shows the development of explosion, the traditional way of data processing can not meet the needs of people. The emergence of cloud storage brings the gospel to people, which can meet the needs of user data processing well. However, the emergence of cloud storage also brings the problems of system fault tolerance, access efficiency and data reliability. To solve these problems, the paper introduces the replica technology for cloud storage. With the introduction of replica technology, the system brings the problem of consistency maintenance and load balancing. Therefore, the research on the replica creation strategy under the cloud storage environment is necessary and meaningful. The paper mainly carried out the following research work: firstly, it introduces the basic concepts and characteristics of cloud computing, the basic concept and development status of cloud storage, the relationship between cloud storage and cloud computing, the relationship between cloud storage and replica management, and the process of copy management, and emphatically introduces the research status of the copy management of distributed File system. Then, aiming at the problem of cloud storage and the replica management under its environment, a simulation system Rmsim is designed and implemented, which lays the foundation for the experimental part of the following chapters. Thirdly, a static replica creation strategy is designed for the copy management strategy problem of the file during the creation period. This strategy aims at the system load balancing and reducing network latency, and chooses the best node storage copy according to the real-time information of the system. Experiments show that this strategy can solve the problem of load balancing and reduce the delay of user accessing network. Finally, a dynamic replica creation strategy based on historical access information is designed in order to improve the efficiency of the replica management strategy. Experiments show that this strategy improves the user's access efficiency to the cloud storage system and improves the performance of the cloud storage system.
