Security is often one of the biggest concerns or impediments to using cloud computing. To help dispel this concern, Microsoft today released a study showing that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMB) are increasingly attracted by the importance of IT security with cloud computing.
The study, commissioned by Microsoft's research firm comscore, polled a number of SMB companies in the US, Singapore, http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/38399.html "> Malaysia, India and Hong Kong markets."
US results show benefits in three main areas:
Time saving: 32% of U.S. companies say they spend less time worrying about cyber-attack threats. Cost savings: The total cost of using cloud computing for SMBs is about 60% less than the SMBs on security issues. Improved security: 35% of American companies have experienced unprecedented security after migrating to the cloud.
Before using cloud services, SMBs is investing time and money in security management to grow their business and become more competitive.
