1 Introduction
This article mainly explains how to crack the login password on the Ubuntu system. The Ubuntu version used in this article is 18.04, and the GNU GRUB version used is 2.02. 2. Bring up the grub menu

Select the recovery mode corresponding to the highest Linux kernel version, that is, the system and password recovery mode, as shown in the following figure, press e on the keyboard to edit the startup item, do not press the enter key, repeat it again, do not press the enter key:
