RIM, Microsoft releases BlackBerry commercial cloud service 50 countries online

For existing Office 365 packaged or stand-alone users, using Exchange online to support any BlackBerry device requires no additional cost, whether it is a business data package or a personal consumption data package.

Once the Rim commercial cloud service is launched, managed BlackBerry smartphones can sync with Exchange online e-mail, calendar, and organized data. The new technology BlackBerry balance helps administrators manage enterprise data on devices while ensuring that personal data is not affected.

Companies can manage mobile phones through web platforms, and employees can access self-service tools to get passwords and device resets, remote locks, and remote erase capabilities.

BlackBerry's commercial cloud service is now online in 50 countries.

It was rumoured that Rim would be the target of Microsoft's takeover, and that such co-operation was one of the reasons the industry believed the two companies would have a takeover deal. The two sides are working closely together and starting technology integration, sharing similar end customer base: Enterprise market.

Last December, it was reported that Rim had even been involved in the takeover talks with Microsoft, but the two sides have not yet announced any relevant content.
