Rimceo: Video to become a smartphone killer app yet to come

RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis said in Toronto in Friday: "Video is not a killer application on a smartphone." Still, video transmission has been a huge challenge for mobile networks. "The BlackBerry's bandwidth-application design has been praised for its use by RIM's own server," the BlackBerry said. In addition, the BlackBerry server also undertook network browsing, social programs traffic tasks. Doing so allows users to surf the Internet more quickly and securely.　　Lazaridis says the design makes RIM's mobile phone three to eight times times more efficient than its opponents ' machines in using network bandwidth.
