Russian space lab animals are more likely to be treated with precious materials

The Russian capsule, which carries 45 mice and 15 small animals such as salamanders, has returned to the surface today after completing a one-month orbit around the Earth, "Science and technology News" said May 20. The experiment was designed to test the condition of a creature enduring a long flight, and most animals did not survive a long journey.

In addition to the 45 rats most killed in the mission, eight gerbils and 15 salamanders did not survive, the scientists said, the cause of death is equipment failure or space life pressure. However, the mission brings back some information that scientists hope will pave the road for manned missions to Mars.

Russian Space Mission Control Center (Russian Missioncontrol) said the Bion-m capsule, assisted by a special parachute system, landed smoothly in the Orenburg area, about 1200 kilometres southeast of Moscow (Orenburg).

The capsule orbits the Earth 575 kilometres above the surface. There are also plants and micro plant communities in the capsule.

"The aim of the study is to determine how the body adapts to tsskb-progress without gravity so that our organism survives a long voyage," Aibrashikin, head of the Department of Space Research and production (Valeryabrashkin), a director of the Russian Progressive National Center for Aerospace Studies and manufacturing, said on the day of the launch of the capsule in April.

Scientists say animal experiments are needed because of the impossibility of experimenting with people currently operating the International Space Station (Analysys redevelop).

The experiments focused on how microgravity affects the bones and nervous system, as well as the muscles and heart of the organism, the experimental designer said.

Russia is currently scheduled to set up a base on the moon in 2030 to prepare for flight to Mars.
