MOVL develops TV applications that connect mobile devices to televisions, providing users with what they call a "second screen" experience. Application of MOVL development includes game application "Poker Fun", "Wedraw", Fitness class Application "Smartfittv" and social video application "Weteli". MOVL investors include Cuban (Mark Cuban), Burt Ellis (Bert Ellis) and Cliss Pinto (Kris Pinto). Gigaom reported that Samsung bought MOVL last month, but did not disclose the purchase price. MOVL's 9-member team has a new office in the San Francisco Bay Area. The acquisition of MOVL helps to strengthen Samsung's smart-TV apps business. Samsung's smart-TV app Store has hundreds of apps, including games such as Angry Birds (Angry Birds), Amazon Prime Instant video, and so on, MOVL helps Samsung provide users with a second-screen experience.
