Samsung is ramping up the development of VR head-wear equipment, or releasing it next year

Engadget received news that Samsung was stepping up its efforts to develop augmented reality head-wear equipment paired with its future flagship device. The news that Oculus Rift, which has just been acquired by Facebook, and Project Morpheus of Sony will be the rivals of the VR device.

Some senior developers are said to have acquired an earlier version of the device, but the retail version of the final interview will be a more powerful peripheral, meaning its ideal pairing device will be the future Samsung flag-ship model. Samsung will use its own OLED display, and the lowest parameters will be the same as Oculus's latest product, which uses the 1080p OLED panel.

The message also said that Samsung was speeding up and that the current release date is scheduled for next year, and that Samsung could also use its own advantages to provide its VR equipment with unmatched advantages. Samsung certainly has the power, and rumours of a Facebook takeover of Oculus Rift to make VR technology the next platform are rife, no matter what the Korean company's affiliation means to its rivals, its strong production and marketing capabilities will undoubtedly boost the popularity of VR technology in the consumer-level market.
