Samsung launches Nike running app for Gear S

According to foreign media reports, Samsung, a joint sports giant Nike launched the Nike running applications. The app works perfectly with Samsung's recently released Gear S smart watch, which allows users to gain access to apps directly on their wrists, using the Bluetooth and 3G features of the latter, without relying on smartphones.

The new Tizen version Nike running applications will be pre-installed with the Gear S system, providing users with independent tracking and music playback capabilities. Running tracking applications typically rely on the GPS capabilities of the host device, but this is not a problem with gear S, because the device has its own A-GPS receiver. In general, GPS is a big power consumer, so Samsung's move can be said to be courageous.

In addition to running tracking, the app allows users to share all of their data with social networks, thanks to the 3G networking capabilities of gear S. The data tracked by the application will be displayed on the Gear S surface Super AMOLED display, including distance, step, heart rate, NikeFuel score, and time.

It is reported that Gear s will be listed in October, but Samsung has not yet disclosed the specific price of equipment.
