In addition to the trouble the "Font gate" has brought to Samsung, the company has been penalized by regulators in Taiwan(China) for employing the network Navy to discredit its rivals. According to Taiwan(China) media reports, Taiwan(China)'s "Fair Trade Commission" in a recent notice on its website, said that Samsung violates the principle of fair trade, employing the Navy in the network to belittle rivals ' smartphones, malicious propaganda products, so the Samsung company fined 10 million NT dollars (about 2.064 million yuan) fine. In addition, the associated Taiwan(China) Peng Tai and the business of the company, respectively, fined NT $3 million, NT $50,000. The report also disclosed the guidelines for Samsung's hiring of the navy, such as attacks against Samsung products, helping Samsung with marketing and giving Samsung products positive reviews. HTC: It's been discredited before, although Taiwan'(China)s "Fair Trade Commission" report did not mention the name of the  company. But according to previous media reports, HTC is considered a direct victim. In its official microblog, HTC said, "in the age of the Internet, the network Navy has caused a lot of damage to the normal business order." This is not only a matter of business ethics, but also a lack of restraint mechanisms, and calls on the mainland to have a third party's Fair Trade Commission like Taiwan(China). "However, the HTC-related person remained very low-key in an interview with the Daily Economic news reporter and said it had been discredited before, but did not comment on the matter." The reporter learned that the case originated in April this year, some  internet users said that Samsung through its local agents to hire students posted on the network to attack HTC products, and recommended Samsung mobile phones. Subsequently, Taiwan(China)'s "Fair Trade Commission" launched an investigation in August. The investigation finally found that Samsung did have this kind of improper behavior. In this regard, China Mobile Internet Industry Alliance Secretary-General Yi in the daily economic news reporter, said that Samsung to take this extreme marketing tools and smartphone industry, the trend of homogenization is not irrelevant. "Including Apple, Samsung, Huawei and other brands in the hardware innovation has encountered bottlenecks, the future is more marketing and channel competition." However, he believes that this model of the Army's marketing is not desirable, but also not the long-term development of the brand. Samsung employs the Navy's public relations firm to disclose data showing that in 2012 Samsung cost $558 million in the global PR market, and 476 million in 2011. Samsung, with the exception of HTC, has not stopped attacking other rivals, according to media reports, pointing at Apple. CNNMoney columnist Philipelmer-dewitt has written that Samsung is most likely to discredit Apple through some people on the web, commenting that Samsung is likely to deploy a large number of professional navy in the U.S. region. Over a few hours after the article was published, more than 1000 feedback (and votes) appeared, and the feedback was concentrated and consistent, with contempt for Apple, the article and the author. The SecretThe secret marketing method is called "the Navy Marketing". Samsung is not the first company to do this kind of marketing, but only this year it has been involved in such events for the second time. In August this year, some developers reported that a South Korean public relations firm had offered 500 dollars to its private company to advertise for Samsung. Samsung then admitted that it did. In the statement, however, Samsung said such actions blatantly violated corporate guidelines and said it was committed to communicating transparently and sincerely to consumers. Taiwan(China)'s Samsung Electronics also responded to the announcement after Taiwan(China)'s regulatory authorities said it was deeply regretful that it would take the necessary steps to maintain the company's credibility and focus on consumers. Even in the negative, Samsung Electronics is still refreshing its quarterly profit record this quarter. Its third quarter achieved net profit of 8.24 trillion won (about 7.76 billion U.S. dollars), up 26% per cent year-on-year. This is the company's seventh consecutive quarter to record profits. But Samsung Electronics's smartphone sales have slowed, and the mobile business is still less than 19.2% in the same period last year.
