Samsung is about to start releasing the platform on a global scale, initially in the Korean market, followed by the US and other countries. This platform enables users to easily manage interconnected appliances and equipment, including televisions and washing machines, through a unified application, as long as they are on the same WiFi network. Samsung says users can say "good night" to the TV remote control, and then can turn other interconnected devices, such as smart bulbs, off automatically. This function will be launched in the second half of this year. Samsung also plans to extend the smart home platform to other devices, including an automatic vacuum cleaner and Gear fit. In South Korea, the platform will appear on Samsung's 2014 smart TVs, and other devices that support the platform include Q9000 air conditioners, bubbleshot 3 W9000 washing machines, Gear 2, and smartphones with Android 4.0 and more versions of the system. In the U.S. market, products that support the platform will include Samsung Smart French door refrigerators, smart Front loading washing machines, all 2014 smart TVs, Gear 2, and smartphones with Android 4.0 and above.
