According to foreign media reports, "Big data" may not be as easy to remember as many of the annual popular words, but if you often focus on the technology industry, then you must have heard the word.

According to Gartner's recent research, the company's chief information Officer (CIO) will put big data and business Intelligence (BI) solutions in the front row of their wish lists over the next few years. As an investor, it makes sense to profit from the growing benefits of big data and business intelligence, and several companies have already positioned themselves well.

As Gartner predicted in June this year, Bi remained a top priority for technology companies at least 2017 years ago. and data discovery will be a new wave of the future. As in many cases, most large data and BI analysis results are analyzed for the report, and only 30% of individuals take advantage of the relevant analysis results.

According to Gartner, business information patterns will change, and bi and large data will be the basis for business decisions in all departments, including sales, marketing, and finance.

Up to now, only 30% of the companies surveyed have invested in large data, and SAP's multiple BI solutions are built around its business Objects suite; Oracle's enterprise-wide bi-base solution (BI Foundation FX), IBM's Cognos bi-related tools are the best known products in the industry.

SAP's cloud revenue is exploding, and its software business has been underperforming in the past quarter, down 5% per cent compared with the third quarter last year. Oracle posted a Better-than-expected earnings report on December 19, and investors have been good. IBM, December 19, announced the acquisition of large file transfer technology company Aspera is the most direct response to its desire to enhance its large data solution suite.

Despite the rumors, BI and the big data market are not in the mainstream, which means there will be an opportunity in the next few years. It's not hard to imagine that at some point in 2016, leading data and bi companies would scramble to hype, according to Gartner. By that time, SAP, Oracle and IBM had positioned themselves to take advantage of the industry exactly.
