For low-end PC market, Microsoft will provide Windows 7 Starter and Windows 7 Home http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/11183.html ">basic version, which, Starter is also known as the introductory edition, mainly for netbooks, while home Basic is for emerging markets including China. That is to say, most OEMs will sell this version of the system as a pre-installed system, which presumably has already been seen from Vista. While Windows 7 has optimized the UI for non-aero mode, there must be a lot of Vista's basic mode better.
Windows 7 Home Basic (family based edition) is available only to developing countries and regions, and will not be marketed to developed countries and regions such as the United States and Taiwan. Of course, some features are missing from other advanced versions of the Windows 7 home base, such as the inability to use the Aero Glass, only the Aero snaps feature, no other aero desktop effects, no advanced games, and so on.
