The survey is about the way IBM reports revenue from cloud computing, and the SEC does not plan to recommend any enforcement action against IBM.

IBM did not disclose the details and reasons for the investigation. IBM said last July that it was facing an SEC law enforcement investigation in the way it reported revenue from cloud computing operations. In 2013, IBM reported a revenue of 4.4 billion dollars in cloud computing business. (D-Gold)
