1 create file filename for message text to be sent.

#vi filename

Then enter the information you want to send, save and exit.

2 Enter write username < filename return and create a file containing a short message with the cat command:

% Cat>message hello! Everybody, I ' ll come.
% write Liux<message Write:liux logged in more than once...write to console
%

The user logs in more than one window and the message is displayed in the control window
