Sensor manufacturers have started to detect human action as an important development goal (Fig A-1). Because in addition to sports, this detection technology may also be applied to health, medical and other important areas.

The United States InvenSense is a leader in small sensor technology for detecting human actions, and has the advantage of being able to achieve high-precision detection based on CMOS MEMS technology. Since May 2012, the company has introduced a small number of chip-making services that make it possible for outside companies to use the technology.
Seiko Epson is developing a combination of small action sensors and independent software "M-tracer", the purpose is to explore the field of sports applications. Kingjian, head of the company's M planning and marketing department, also said the product was characterized by "an order of magnitude higher than other companies ' products." M-tracer has applied the technical experience of the company's expertise in Crystal gyroscopes.
The Italian-French semiconductor will be produced from 2013 1 ~ March. The "Inemo" of 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope sensor and geomagnetic sensor are integrated in a single 32-bit MCU package. The product has a size of about 4mm square. In addition to the field of sport, it also aims to monitor the "medical needs" of the elderly, such as the action of the St Microelectronics analog MEMS Power product Department, the Department of Action MEMS products, Tian Shi.
The United States analog Devices in May 2012 published the largest can detect ±200g 3-axis acceleration sensor "ADXL377". One of its uses is motor racing, which detects the risk of traumatic brain damage by installing the product in the driver's headset and detecting the impact of the game. Prior to this, the ±200g grade acceleration sensor was mainly a single axis product. "It will be easier to detect the impact of each side after reaching the 3-axis," said Yong, head of the sensor department, the industry and equipment division of Analog Devices.
