Set up COM1 port in Linux, let HyperTerminal login via COM1 Port

Step one: Confirm/sbin/agetty, edit/etc/inittab, add

7:http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/19060.html ">2345:respawn:/sbin/agetty/dev/ttys0 9600

9600bps is because the default is usually this rate when the router is connected, it can also be set to

19200, 38400, 57600, 115200

Step Two: Modify/etc/securetty, add one line: ttyS0, make sure the root user can log in

Step three: Reboot the machine, you can unplug the mouse keyboard display (it is best to look at the output information when starting)
