Set up research and development center with Fujitsu Semiconductor

Qualcomm-Rich micro-electricity (002156) bulletin, the company and Fujitsu Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is to establish a cooperative research and development platform, using the rapid development of the semiconductor industry to speed up the transformation of advanced packaging technology and industrialization.　　August 30, the two sides signed the "Cooperation in the establishment of research and development Center letter of Intent."　　Fujitsu Semiconductor and the company's second largest shareholder Fujitsu (China) Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu, and is controlled by Fujitsu and is affiliated with the company. The research and Development Center is located in Qualcomm-rich micro-electricity. The Director shall be Shi Mingda by the chairman of the company and the Deputy Director shall be nominated by each of the two sides. Fujitsu Semiconductor has commissioned 3-4 researchers to work in the research and Development Center.　　The research and Development Center is scheduled to begin operation in 2010. The two sides jointly negotiate and formulate research and development strategy, direction and project.　　In the next 1-2 years, the focus of research and development is fan-out WLP, low cost FCBGA and other technologies. Qualcomm-rich micro-electricity said that the establishment of research and development centers, will increase the company to develop new packaging products and technology, conducive to the company's comprehensive technology upgrading, to accelerate the transformation of advanced packaging technology and industrialization.
