Shanda Games Second-quarter results basically meet analyst expectations

In the second quarter of 2009 fiscal year, the net profit of Shanda game is RMB 363.2 million yuan, earnings per share is 1.32 yuan.　　Shanda's second-quarter revenue was 1.11 billion yuan (about 163.9 million U.S. dollars), down 4% from 1.16 billion yuan a year earlier. Shanda Games earnings per share in the second quarter matched Wall Street analysts ' previous forecasts, but revenues were slightly lower than expected.　　Analysts expect grand games to yield 16 cents per share in the second quarter, with a revenue of $165.9 million, according to Thomson Reuters. On that day, Shanda's shares rose 0.01 U.S. dollars in conventional Nasdaq trading, at $5.77, or 0.17%. In the ensuing intraday trading, Shanda Gaming fell 0.01 US dollars to $57.6, or 0.17%.
