NetEase technology News October 23, Japan Sharp Company announced 22nd, its research and development of the basic components of solar cells, that is, the conversion rate of the battery chip to 35.8%, the world's highest level. The battery is a "compound solar cell", unlike solar cells, which are usually made from silicon, and are expected to be used in areas such as artificial satellites.

In the widely used silicon solar cells, such as residential, the conversion power of the wafer is about 20%. Compound solar cells are now being planned for cosmic development, although they have high conversion power but are costly.
