Siege is a regression testing tool designed to help webhttp://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/7155.html "> Developers measure code performance." It can stress test the URL of a defined number of impersonated users, and read multiple URLs into memory, and stress tests at the same time. The tool is able to record the total number of clicks, byte transmissions, response times, concurrency, and return status of the site. Supports http/1.0 and 1.1 protocols, get and post directives, cookies, transactions, and Basic authentication, which can be configured on a per-user basis.

Siege 2.73B1 This version fixes a bug that prevents kernel compilation, and uses the/dev/urandom on the machine to support improved randomness.
