Skulker is a rule-based log and temporary file management tool for Linux/unix. It is written in Perl and is easy to extend to files. It provides a variety of devices to help manage disk space, including compression, deletion, rotation, archiving, and directory reorganization. It provides dry running equipment to test new rules, as well as detailed spatial recycling reports.
Skulker 1.2.0 This version adds-start and-end features to summarize the output, not all known runs (this is still the default). Variables can be either uppercase or lowercase mixed, not just lower case. The new medium variable Cmpext built-in provides a pattern matching, matching file, a known compression type. The man page has been updated.
