Skulker is a rule-based log and temporary file management tool for Linux/unix. It is written in Perl and is easy to extend to files. It provides a variety of devices to help manage disk space, including compression, deletion, rotation, archiving, and directory reorganization. It provides dry running equipment to test new rules, as well as detailed spatial recycling reports.
Skulker 1.2.1 This version adds more security features. This includes is_true_world_writeable is_true_world_readable feature matching files, list matching "list" features, and improved "setperms" functionality to change any matching files. The Has_no_owner and Has_no_group features are added to achieve the function of recording file system scan time for each rule.
