Skye to reach strategic cooperation agreement with China Unicom

March 18, Beijing time, Sky (Nasdaq:mobi) announced today that it has reached a strategic partnership with the China Unicom store through its holding subsidiary, Mopin Marvell. Under the cooperation agreement, Skye is designated as China Unicom's official business partner to provide personalized and customized software services within China Unicom's national physical retail outlets.

The initial cooperation between the two provinces, including Zhejiang, Guangxi and Shandong, will be extended to Hebei, Heilongjiang, Hunan, Shanghai and Guangdong before the end of this year.

The partnership will allow China Unicom to provide consumers with a better user experience when they buy smartphones, the two sides said, using Skye's personalized software service. At the same time, the deal also shows Skye's cooperation with China's leading mobile operators is further.
