Smart home maker Nest announces recall of 440,000 smoke alarms

Nest, a smart home manufacturer, announced the recall of 440,000 smoke alarms as a result of security risks. In early April this year, nest suspended the sale of alarms for the same reason.

Unlike traditional alarms that detect smoke alarms, Nest's protect Smoke + Co alarms allow users to wave to the alarm near the alarm.
