Smart Sports Bra: Comfortable and functional difficult both

One of the traditional ways to achieve heart rate monitoring is to use the heart rate band. And Sensoria's sports bra combines a fabric electrode sensor with an external heart rate monitor (HRM) to replace the heart rate band that needs to be tied to the chest. Put on this bra, the user no longer need to use the trouble with the heart rate. This sports bra incorporates an electrode sensor on the chest strap, which gives a slightly better comfort and accuracy than a normal heart rate strap.

We tested this bra with a variety of different types of exercise, whether it is cycling, running or doing yoga, and it works without any problems. As long as the sensor is fully wet, it provides consistent heart rate data to traditional heart rate bands. However, the position of this bra will always be fixed compared to the heart rate band, which is occasionally misplaced during exercise. The use of a Sensoria sports bra is as simple as wetting the fabric electrode sensor first and then wearing a compatible heart rate monitor. Users can pair the latter with many different fitness applications to read its data output.

Although heart rate and traditional heart rate belt comparable, but as a sports bra, Sensoria this product is a bit lacking. Because of the use of special materials, its relatively poor air permeability, weight is also high, so it as a normal bra wear a little too hot. In addition, the shoulder straps look uncomfortable for weight training and yoga because of the style design. Combining these two factors, the Sensoria sports bra does not perform well enough for breathability and overall comfort.
