Beijing time October 21 morning news, according to foreign media reports, Facebook, social game developers Kabam and Zynga are said to be from China to find more software talent, more rely on Chinese software designers to develop the game. Kabam is the developer of the Facebook game Arthur Kingdom (Kingdoms of Camelot). Andy Lee, Kabam Asia's general manager, said the company set up a studio in Beijing this May and two games are currently under development. The number is the same as the number of games being developed by the company's US studios. Zynga also said it wanted to take advantage of the faster pace of innovation by Chinese developers. "China is very important to us," Andy Li Hu said. We will actively expand our business in this area and build more studios in China. This is an important part of our international strategy. My task is to manage this growth. "In terms of user numbers, China is the world's largest internet market. The number of Internet users in China is 420 million, which helps to develop software design talent. China has been the biggest exporter of computers, toys and clothing, but it has also developed in software development as the center of the Internet has shifted to China. Duncan Clark Duncan Clark, chairman of BDA Consulting, said: "China is shifting from the low-end of the value chain to the high-end, with low gross profit margins and high production manufacturing moving to design." The value of the product is mainly in the design, which is the direction of China's hope. Andy Li Hu said the Beijing studio is Kabam's first international studio, which currently employs 35 people in Beijing. The company employs about 100 people in the United States. In the next few years, the number of Chinese employees in the company will surpass that of the United States. Kabam is a privately owned company that previously received 9.5 million of dollars in investment from investment firms such as Betfair Group and Canaan. Tian, president of Zynga's Beijing studio, said that in order to attract cost-sensitive customers, fight piracy and survive in China's fiercely competitive market, software developers in China must work harder than their American counterparts, prompting the emergence of many talented software engineers. This May, Zynga announced the acquisition of Chinese gaming company Hippede XPD Media, the first step in Zynga's foray into the Chinese market. Hippede, including co-founder Tian, had 40 employees. Zynga says it will integrate Hippede staff into the global workforce, working on engineering and software development. Tian said at a conference October 18 that China's innovation is faster than the West in terms of business models. "China is a leader in innovation," he said. Despite its size, growth is still continuing. "Most software companies in China have only a small number of employees, but the share of their revenues in Apple's App store has reached 10% per cent," said Ding, director of the Jinsha venture. "China has market potential and should not just follow the US," he said. China can be the birthplace of new applications. Many applications are being tried in China for the first time, and these applications can be extended to the U.S. and global markets. We will see more of these applications in the future. Andy Li Hu said the growth of the Chinese market could be seen through Kabam the pace of development in China's studios. 5 months after its establishment, the Kabam China Studio will move into a new office, 3 times times the size of the current Etower office.
