Built-in wireless charging device, can be changed according to different seasons color ———— companionship of human beings hundreds of years of the road is beginning to "smart" evolution. Many developers have focused on the goal of how to make the road cooler ...

Scott Brusaw and Juliebrusaw, a couple of American Idaho State, have developed a solar-powered led road board. The road board is equipped with electric and LED lights, and the road surface is fitted with a sturdy solar panel to serve as a traditional asphalt road. Solar Panels store electricity during the day and power the LED lights at night. According to Juliebrusaw, they are editing programs to allow these lights to display "left turn", "front construction" and other information, hoping that in the future the road Board will be able to publish information like radio.

At present, the two couples have made a second generation of solar panels, the new road plate was designed to be a hexagonal plate, to better adapt to the hills and other slopes of the terrain, and such a combination of the release of the energy of the solar panels can be in the snow to melt the snow.

For small-scale testing, the couple set up a new solar panel on a 12x36 square-foot parking space outside the lab, and after a series of experiments on friction and shock resistance, the road board was able to withstand a load of about 250,000 pounds-equivalent to the weight of 5 heavy trucks laden with cargo. In order to be able to do more "practical", the two people also planned special roads, drainage systems and cables, optical cables and so on.

Shift has reported that Dutch laboratories have spent a lot of money developing intelligent highways. The project has now been stopped because of some technical problems with the test. Compared with Dutch designers making roads in large laboratories, couples work more like small workshops.

In fact, the two men's early research and development work was done in their garages, until the Federal Highway Board of Management came to the door and they found out they were doing a project that needed money. The couple are now receiving two rounds of investment from the U.S. Federal Highway Management Board. To expand capacity and get a new round of support, the two people put the project on the public fund-raising platform Indiegogo, ready to raise 1 million of billions of dollars. Up to now, they have raised nearly 40,000 dollars.

The Brusaws did not specifically give a specific price for installing the solar-powered road board, saying they would announce an exact figure by July this year, after an overall estimate. But will the final cost be high? Brusaws said that the solar road itself is a power generation machine, and its power generation benefits can be fully offset by its construction costs.
