"We have made major strategic adjustments and decided to focus most of our energy on smartphones, especially in the high-end market," Walker said. In many markets, users have switched from traditional phones to smartphones. Sony Ericsson said in April this year that more than 60% of handsets sold in the first quarter of this year were smartphones. Xperia Ray and Xperia active two new handsets will use Google's Android system, the former fuselage is only 9.4 mm thick, the latter has waterproof function, the price of these two handsets will be lower than the high-end mobile phone Xperia arc price.
