Sony PlayStation Receptacle has had a fourth consecutive day of connectivity since the hacking attack, but the company said in Sunday that the service was slowly recovering.
Lizard Geek hacker Group has issued a statement responsible for PlayStation receptacle and Microsoft Xbox Live on Christmas Day downtime. Xbox Live was restored in Friday.
"We are going through a wide range of network issues that are currently being addressed." Sony said on the PlayStation maintenance website.
A few hours earlier, Catherine Jensen, vice president of consumer experience at Sony's Computer entertainment company, said on PlayStation blog that the network would be "back online".
Some players on Twitter say they have been able to visit PlayStation receptacle in Sunday, but many have complained about ongoing downtime. It is not clear how many of Sony's 56 million video gamers are experiencing such problems.
"Receptacle services are gradually recovering," Sony said on its official Twitter account askplaystation. ”
Sony has been hit by some of the most famous hacking attacks in history. At the end of November this year, Sony Pictures's computer network was hacked because the company filmed the comedy film "The Assassination of Kim Jong-un" (The Interview). U.S. President Barack Obama has accused the North Korean government of launching the attack.
Lizard Geek once claimed responsibility for the PlayStation receptacle hacking attacks of August and early December this year. There was also a bomb threat in August this year, when Lizard Geek sent a Twitter message to US Airways that contained explosives on a plane containing Sony's online entertainment executives.
In 2011, hackers also stole data from 77 million PlayStation receptacle users.
