"Sohu Digital News" September 10 News, Sony released yesterday a new device named IM10 Wireless display, allowing users to easily project the image on the smartphone onto the TV screen. The device uses Miracast technology to support Xperia Z1, ZR and Z Ultra handsets. IM10 's fuselage specification is 75x75x16.5 millimeter, weighs 125 grams, is a simple compact square equipment. Its back has only 2 connectors, which are used to connect the TV's HDMI interface, as well as the microUSB charging interface, and the front of the fuselage has only 1 LEDs and connection keys. By leveraging Miracast and WiFi direct technology, IM10 will allow smartphones to stream up to 1080p of content streaming onto TV. NFC-enabled handsets can be quickly paired with IM10, while handsets that do not have the feature need to be set manually. In addition, laptops or tablets can also use IM10 if they support miracast.
