According to foreign media reports, the UK's leading security company Sophos recently released the latest statistical report shows that January-March this year, the number of spam from the United States is still the world's largest, accounting for 13.1% of the total amount of spam in the world. Over the same period, the number of spam messages originating in China has fallen sharply, accounting for only 1.9% of the total spam in the world.
The United States topped the list of Sophos's latest global spammers, India's second (accounting for 7.3% of global spam), Brazil's third (6.8%), South Korea's fourth (4.8%), and Vietnam's fifth (3.4%). China's ranking in the list has retreated to 15th place.
"The United States, India, Brazil and South Korea have more than 30% total spam in the world," said Graham Cluley, senior technical advisor for Sophos, Greheum Crale. It is noteworthy that the number of spam mails originating in China has declined steadily over the past 12 months. ”
Sophos says 97% of the e-mail messages received by the Global corporate mail server are spam. Spam is rampant, not only crowding out the bandwidth resources of enterprise users, but also enterprise users must spend a lot of time to deal with spam specifically.
